No Space Race This Month
The DaVinci Project has been put on hold for a few weeks, leaving a clear field for SpaceShipOne to win the Ansari X-Prize in a couple weeks. It's definitely now Burt's race to lose.

Ditto that! This is the first place I came after reading this morning that Richard Branson is starting up Virgin Galactic--because Rand has the best space commentary I know of and finds all sorts of neat links to post. This here minor-league space geek says thanks, and sorry about all those hurricanes. :-)
