More "Fake" Purple Hearts

Duncan Young asked in comments here whether or not there should have been a debate about Bob Dole's Purple Hearts in 1996.

Well, what do you know? There was.

We don't recall it because, for some reason, we didn't have all the outrage in the mainstream media about it.

Beat you to it, Rand
That's actually the article I linked to,

It represents the sum total of the 'debate', so far as I can tell, and was not a factor in the campaign. If its not in the mainstream media, it doesn't exist, so far as most voters are concerned.
