Car For Sale

In case anyone's looking for a project car. It's a BMW 2002 tii that I've had for over twenty years. I need to get rid of it before I can leave California.

Sweet ride. I'm not one of the round tail-light purists and actually bought a 74 tii as my first car purchase back in '88 when I got out of high school.

Man, that was a fun 3 weeks. Then my best friend totalled it... loose gravel on pavement.

I'd be tempted if I had some disposable income. Or didn't live in Virginia. :P

Good luck on finding a good home for it.

I had a similar relationship with several Fiat 124 Spyders that I basically gave away befor leaving the Bay Area. Could not get out what I had in em so they went to good homes for tokens.

The 2002 was extremely popular on the Peninsula and in the City. Suggest you look for the BMW Club and advertise there. They would be more likely to go for a project and can evaluate it best.

If I had the money to do over again, I'd fund a major rebuild, repaint, re-wire and enjoy it into the sunset. Old Cars are simply more fun to drive along the Skyline and side roads around La Honda.

There are some good shops in Burlingame, San carlos, San Mateo who will work with you on a project plan. FWIW
