Read the book, found it very informative and WELL documented. One conclusion I did find missing was on why she is still married to Bubba. A divorced person that is not currently married does not get elected President.

I have a recording of a 1997 Mort Sahl appearance with Eugene McCarthy which has this bit of dialogue.

Sahl: [Clinton's] wife reminds me of Evita Peron.

Eugene McCarthy: There are Peronist elements. You get along with the bankers, military, and major corporations, and let your wife take care of social welfare.

Sahl: No kidding, I never thought of that.
