Checking In From Mojave

Doug Jones of XCOR Aerospace has graciously allowed me to use his computer (and to throw an air mattress by his desk) to post from here.

The partying has begun, and many luminaries of the space movement are here. It's like old home week. Rollout is only nine hours off now.

Small sigh. I came 'yay' close to moving to San Diego a few years ago. I'd like to think that, much as I'm with y'all in spirit, I'd be there in person. I've got the vacation days saved, but Mojave is a bit too far from Wisconsin.
