I'm Being Comment Spammed By Disney
Really. Check out the last comment in this post. It's one of two, so far.
Should I complain to them? Who would be doing this for them, and why?

Sorry. Fixed now.

I swear I do not work for Micheal Eisner. Honest.
(i.e. might be the wrong link again ;))

Nice try, Duncan, you Mickey (and Donald) shill, you.
Of course, the real question is...do you work for Michael Eisner?

Busted! Okay, I admit it - I was behind the The Black Hole.
God have mercy on my soul.

I bet it is some scriptkiddie working through "Spam for Dummies" volume 6. It isn't even the primary Disney URL.

You want mercy on your soul, you ghoul?
If that's true, you have no soul. There aren't enough circles in hell for the likes of you.

If your scriptkiddie theory is right, I'd think that Disney might want to know. It would be nice to have some corporate help in tracking down the little monster.
In any event, you didn't answer my question.

They got me too, now in the MT Blacklist file. Bleh.
As for the other, agree with you if he was behind Black Hole.

It's showing up on the blog I co-edit, Martian Soil. One yesterday, one today.
There was also a spate of similar spams that linked back to a "seven-day high school degree" site. Similar in the lame, vague comments in the comments section, useless e-mail addresses, etc.

HEY! I liked the Black Hole movie when I was a kid, so nyahh! Maximilian rocked!

I'll second that comment about 'The Black Hole' - it was good, standard Disney summer movie fodder. I even liked Alan Dean Foster's novelization.

Robots with painted eyes. *brrrr* It still makes me shiver. The Idiocies Per Second index on that movie was so high the mind warping effect almost DID create a Black Hole.
Of course, the remake of "The Time Machine" was just as bad, in different ways. Yearrgh.
