What A Shame

SCO's Unix licensing revenues were down a little in the second quarter.

99%, in fact.

Maybe they should have a going-out-of-business sale.

According to my calculations, that drop in licensing revenue is actually more a 99.87% decline compared to 2nd quarter last year (going from $8.25 million to $11,000). I guess that's what happens when you don't have a real business any more.

Another shame (non-scarcastically)...

Ray Charles has died.

Or maybe they should just sue the competition in order to generate revenue...

Nonsense. As the RIAA has shown us, the key to increasing revenue is to a) significantly increase prices, and b) sue your customer base.

It was not a good day for the SCO Group. It looks like their Slander of Title suit against Novell isn't going to succeed, and they lost the bid to have patent counterclaims bifurcated.

They're just about ignorable now.
