Spaceflight legislation languishes
Via RLV News, Alan Boyle has a piece on the much needed senate companion to HR3752, which is being held up for reasons that don't actually make much sense. Read Alan's piece for details. This is one of the issues we were working on SubOrbital Day. Hopefully we won't have to revisit it next time.

Actually, it makes sense to me to perfect the bill in the House, if nobody wants to have debate in the Senate and a conference. I'm not sure why they don't want a conference, however. It might screw up the unanimous consent process, thereby delaying the signing until after the session reconvenes after the elections.

Actually, there appears to be some good news on the horizon for HR 3752. We'll know for certain in the next week or so...
