More than I wanted to know.

FYI: if it makes you feel any better, a healthy person's urine is sterile. This may be why the whole peeing-on-the-hands thing seems to work; irrigating one's calluses with clean, highly-acidic urine probably helps kill off the sort of bacteria that tend to congregate in hornified skin and create irritation.

Or maybe it's just a placebo effect. Who knows?

WRT number 10: My mother in law used to have the catering gig for the Rose Bowl pressroom. Their watchwords were "runny food."

There's apparently no way to keep reporters from stuffing free food into their pockets. You can, however, make it _really_ messy.

Next time you are at the supermarket or bookstore, take a look at the current issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. Yeah, it's a chick mag. Right now there is an article by a stewardess--er, "flight attendant"--about the things she's seen on flights. It is short enough that you can read it in a few minutes without buying the magazine.

One piece of advice: do not use the blankets. She describes how the complimentary blankets have been used to cover up some rather disgusting things, such as passenger "accidents" and passenger "indiscretions."
