Hmm, Rand, you dont seem to be getting it. Its long ago established that nobody BUT NASA is able to do anything in space. Just read their charter:
-To explore the Universe and search for life
-To inspire the next generation of explorers
...as only NASA can
Double-emphasis on the words _only_ and _NASA_
