A Springfield, MO newspaper has dropped Doonesbury, due to reader feedback.
"Doonesbury" was the most reviled strip, with 1,133 of our voters ranking it in the three they hate most.
Now, if they'd just pick up Day By Day...

Thanks for the mention, Rand!
I'm working towards that...

I wouldn't miss Doonesbury. The only strips I really follow these days are Get Fuzzy, Piranha Club, Penny Arcade and Day by Day.
p.s. Chris, you rock!

I stoped reading Doonesbury years ago. I'm tired of poseurs making snide little comments.
The rest of the paper is full of stories documenting our failures as a sentient species. Why let some cartonnists hiding out in the back sections make it even worse?
I read comics that are mind-numbingly soporific and completely unrelated to real life.
You know, like television.

I love Day By Day as well...

Actually, Doonesbury was funny (for the first time in years; not that I've been counting) a couple of days ago. Something about masturbation; maybe there's a bit of Doonesbury-dropping going around.
