Identifying The Culprits

M. David Stirling has an editorial today that points that, while Davis is indeed a dud, California's problems cannot be laid exclusively at his feet. The state has been run into the ditch by the dominant liberal Democrats in Sacramento.

While it's not news to anyone who's been paying attention, what's surprising about this piece is the newspaper in which it appeared--the San Francisco Chronicle.

Its not just the Liberal Dumbocrats who are to blame, after all they didn't vote themselves into office! The people of California should have seen this situation coming long ago. I've lived in California twice, and have friends there still, everyone I worked with voted Liberal, complained about the Liberals spending habits, and would say they didn't trust the Conservatives. Well you can't have it both ways.

These same Liberal voters worked in Utility and Military industries, neither group is EVER supported by Californias Liberal Electorate. These voters slowly cut their own throats over the last 25 years, at the ballot box.

California voters have proven just how fickle they can truly be, they elected Greyout Davis last fall and then signed recall petitions just a few months later. All the signatories are not Conservatives, can't be. It proves that the Liberal voters operate on emotion not on sound reasoning.

The question begs, having started to throw out the Dumbocrat leaders, and their destructive policies, will they now elect YET ANOTHER money bumbling fool, or will someone who understands business and sound financial processes get a chance?

Don't underestimate the value of a money bumbling fool.

A money bumbling fool is more likely to bungle CA's debt to the point that no one will loan money to CA. That will save CA from hundreds of billions of spending on stupid projects.

Well, you got to keep the state functioning otherwise the worst of the inmates will flee to other states and attempt to repeat the idiocy that would have destroyed California.

Actually, many of the worst of CA are immigrants themselves. Pelosi came from back East. Brown (current SF Mayor) is from Texas.

I understand that Oregonians are a bit upset at Californians who move there and then want to pull up the drawbridge. I suspect that one would find that they pulled that trick in CA.
