Art Imitates Life?
OK, anyone want to take bets on whether or not Rainier Wolfcastle runs for governor of whatever the heck state Springfield is in this fall on The Simpsons?

I think the odds are better that he'll run for mayor against Quimby.

Of course, Gray Davis makes Mayor Quimby look like Jimmy Stewart's Mr Smith in comparison.

We need to have some "McBain for Governor" Bumper stickers printed up.
I wish 'Mel Gibson' could be his running mate, he really knew how to clean out the legislature! ...............but beware the dog with the beady eyes!

Until the end of that episode, I thought Homer was talking about Mr. Peabody.
I always thought that mutt was evil. Isn't it against the law to transport a minor across temporal lines?

It's worth noting that one of Mayor Quimby's slogans was "If you were running for mayor, he'd vote for you!" Perhaps Rainier Wolfcastle will put that assertion to the test.
Personally, I'm voting for Max Power.
