Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Go Back To TV
Patrick Ruffini has the plotlines for the upcoming sequel to "West Wing," titled "Right Wing."
The West Wing staff entertains the cast of a Hollywood White House drama for a day. Cast members who have signed an anti-war petition confront the President and he humiliates them with a quiz on world affairs, which they fail, concluding ?When you?ve got Bentleys and Ferraris in your garage, you might find it difficult to understand, but we in this country aren?t safe. The very freedom that made your mansions and sportboats possible is hated by a fanatical band of madmen half a world away and I will not rest until they are stopped.?

God! If only!
Television has become so reflexively left-statist that I can no longer abide anything but "Alias" and "Buffy The Vampire Slayer."

However.....
I didn't see it myself, but Howard over at Global News Watch writes that President Jeb Bartlett made the following statement on an episode of 'West Wing' very recently.
"We're for freedom of speech everywhere. We're for freedom of worship everywhere. We're for freedom to learn for everybody. And because in our time you can build a bomb in your country and bring it to my country, what goes on in your country is very much my business, and so we're for freedom from tyranny everywhere, whether in the guise of political oppression, Toby, or economic slavery, Josh, or religious fanaticism, C.J. That most fundamental idea cannot be met with merely our support. It must be met with our strength diplomatically, economically and materially. And if Pharaoh still doesn't free the slaves, than he's going to meet my cavalry."
If Pharaoh does not free the slaves, he's going to meet my cavalry?!?!?!?!? He won't face the horror of..... another 'last chance'?!?!
Interesting. Mr. "Sheen", can you help provide some of those Bush seed pods you have obviously been replaced with, so we might start hearing similar from Sean Penn and Streisand, et al?
