Going It Alone
We're going to be going it alone with at least eight European countries. That would be the new Europe, not the old one. I guess that no one counts to "journalists" and pundits except Germany and France, though.

If the Duchy of Grand Fenwick were the only country not going along with us, well, you get the idea...

No, "Europe" is whomever disagrees with us. I don't so much mind the media bias per se; I mind the insistence that they don't have one.

Eight European countries with a combined population upwards of 230MM, vs. 140MM for the "Axis of Weasels". And the vote in NATO to prepare to defend Turkey was, I believe, 11 to 4 (France and Germany got Belgium and...LUXEMBOURG to vote with them on that one).

Those poor Lowlanders. Maybe they suppose that as long as France and Germany are agreeing on things, they're safe if they go along.
Any prairie dog could tell them, it's just as dangerous when the buffalo are mating, as fighting.

May be its because they feel France and Germany are the only important countries, and the rest are just a bunch of ____ (fill in your favorite perjorative).
Poland, Czech Republic, and Hungary and the rest are sooo provincial. Spain, Portugal, and Italy? Same thing. And "Everyone" knows Blair is just following the Big Bad George Bush.
After all Paris and Berlin are the centers of the "Europe."
