According to Fox News, Cato is filing a lawsuit on behalf of several Washington DC residents against the district's prohibition on handguns, on Second Amendment grounds. Good for them.

It will be interesting to see what position the Administration takes--they've been schizophrenic on the issue. It will be more interesting to see what the response of the gun grabbers is if they lose the suit. If they appeal it, they'll risk having higher courts, and possible the Supreme Court rule on it, which could wipe out a lot of laws all over the country overnight.

It'll be years until it gets to that point, though, unfortunately.
