Desperation In The Garden State

Torricelli is scheduling a press conference for 2 PM eastern. I wonder if he's being pressured to drop out while the Dems still have time to find an alternate candidate?

Exactly what kind of politics is this? You see that you're going to lose so you just give before the election? They rob the citizens of a chance to have their vote to record and now they want to slide another candidate in before the election--and the deadline for that has passed.

Democratic Party politics--win at all costs, don't give up power.

I say good riddance to Torricelli. This is the man that gave us the Torricelli Principal. This law forbade the CIA from paying bad people for their information. Pie in the sky laws like this helped 9/11 immeasurably. Too bad he'll be on the public dole (retired benefits) he sure was overcompensated while "serving".
