The real question should be, how did this loon become New Jersey's poet laureate in the first place?

Good question. Another good question is why in the hell we can't undo the designation once it is bestowed upon someone who turns out to be a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

Since when does New Jersey need a "poet laureate"? I can see it now: "We need some cul-chah in heeyah! Find me some poet guy, Now!" Bada-boom, bada-bing.
