The PC President

Ann Coulter says that the president is engaging in mindless rituals, to the detriment of our nations' security. She's right.

She's wrong. Her whole argument hinges on the notion that this is Bush's Dept of Transportation, when Bush fought to keep the whole TSA privatized. The current TSA was forced on him by Congress, mostly democrats.

Bush can fire Norm Mineta any time he wants. He can have Magaw transferred. All congress made him do was federalize the security force. If he wants to profile Arabs, or Islamists, that's his and Ashcroft's decision.

Don't make excuses for him.
