Back To The Drawing Board...

A couple days ago. Microsoft released a patch for newly-discovered security holes in Internet Explorer.

It doesn't work.

Better get that new company going.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaarrrrrrgh.

sheesh.

I like UNIX for servers (geekhood admitted) but windows is so much easier for most of the world. I just wish UNIX were half as "user-friendly" as MS ('take' depends on what your definition of 'friendly' is....

Ha!

Not only does it (actually two security updates) not work but it screws Crazy Browser.

What I did, more or less by accident, was uninstall OE 5.5 (had to do it twice!) and then reinstall (from the original IE 5.5 update that I had saved to HD) and Crazy Browser got fixed!

Take a look at "www.crazybrowser.com". It is a frontend to IE and is mostly very nice with a few rough edges.
