DARE To Be Sensible
Good news from Massachussetts. Governor Jane Swift is dramatically cutting budgets, including zeroing out funding for the Massachussetts DARE program. Hopefully other states will follow suit, and rid us of this counterproductive nonsense.

Heartily agree on flushing DARE.
IIRC there is a voter initiative petition circulating in MA for a proposition to eliminate the state income tax entirely. If so, that could be the impetus for the budget cutting.
