More Gun Control Success

In the most recent year, nine out of ten of shooting fatalities in Kenya were police shootings, according to this story.

One must get a certificate in order to own a firearm in Kenya. This is issued only after a detailed personal investigation and must be justified.

But police and other public officers and members of rifle clubs are the exception to the rule.

This little tidbit fits well with your piece about the proposed ban on space weapons. Gun control advocates belong to that lunatic element of humankind that either cannot or will not face facts. They continue to propose exactly the same "solutions" to "gun violence" that have been tried over and over again, with the same results everywhere it had been tried. Take away guns from law abiding citizens and criminals have a field day. If I watched someone hit himself in the head with a two-by-four and then fall to the ground unconscious, I don't believe I would then hit MYSELF in the head with the same two-by-four to prove that the purity of my intentions would spare me the from the identical outcome. Some people just never learn.

Goddamnit! Edit that "had" in line five to "has." That was a typo, screened out in my brief proof reading. Reading it now, with the sharp eye one develops when it's too late to do anything about it, I cringe. Sorry about that. I actually DO understand how to conjugitate the verb "be" and how to keep my tenses straight. Honest.
