  1. “On that last saga, so much hinges. It goes to the heart of how a society kills itself with kindness.”

    That is too generous.

All of Europe has the same two problems.

Side note: when leftists around the globe jail opponents and rig elections, it removes doubt about what happened in 2020 and the outcome of the trials against Trump.

    1. Agree with the main comment but really agree with the side note.

I used to be a bit moderate on that subject. I think 2020 was rigged but understood the position that it probably wasn’t rigged to that extent. That’s gone. Even setting aside the treason related to Covid and Hunter’s laptop; it is difficult to reconcile what is happening in Europe and assume that’s not what was going on here that we barely managed to stop. Especially when the study drops today that a significant portion of the US left wants Trump to meet his own Luigi (again).

  2. That article feels muddled, but as best I can tell, Sweeney prefers unlimited immigration to his country and is saddened by all those who want England to remain more or less English.

  3. I don’t think they believe it. I work for a London based company. The people that live and work there believe in the current UK government and support Starmer. They almost all voted to remain. They never understood the support behind Brexit. The few that changed their remain vote did so because they at least thought it unfair to have the second vote. Imagine all those people who saw nothing wrong with forcing the second vote. Those people are now in charge, and see nothing wrong with imprisoning people for speech, or changing prison housing for trans-women.

They have a blind side and something stronger than Lawrence Taylor is about to hit them.

  4. I’m not sure anything short of a full-on revolt of the soccer hooligans will save Britain at this point. You’ll know it’s Game On when headless, castrated male Muslim bodies start showing up and a rash of mosque fires breaks out. After that, it’ll just be a matter of which way the rank-and-file Bobbies will go. Their officers will obey 10 Downing Street – or at least try to. The rankers are the question mark.

And the military, though likely less so. Many of the careerists have actually fought Islamists. I don’t fancy them following orders to fire on ordinary Brits to save Islamists.

      1. That remains, I regret to say, a live possibility. But at the rate things appear to be unraveling in Old Blighty, I think the tale will be told sooner rather than later. I’ll root for the yabbos until either victory or all hope is lost.

Anywhere in Europe/UK the transnational progs manage to stifle populism by force will simply witness a short delay in the further imposition of some sort of caliphate. Once all the natives who know how to grow food and keep the infrastructure going are enslaved, killed resisting or flee, starvation, disease and weather will quickly have their way with the People of Allah and they will die back to whatever level of subsistence is possible for desert tribal barbarians trying to live where winter is a real thing.

At that point – wintertime would probably be best – we can send troops to shoot any survivors and make bonfires of the frozen corpses. Then we can declare Great Britain the 5Xth state, post some sentries and send in some modern-day Monuments Men to salvage what little of Britain’s patrimony may remain. Not much, I suspect.

Lather, rinse, repeat for Continental Europe.

Europe and environs have had a good long run but are now fading fast. As Mark Steyn says, the future belongs to those who show up for it. Europe seems well on the way to being marked absent.

  5. I’m not a fan of the analysis being used in both this article and the west in general. A more accurate model is the idea that “colonialism” has finally come to the west. The same people who were dedicated “anti-colonialists” are now imposing what amounts to a colonial rule on their home populations. The solution is a – hopefully nonviolent – revolution – this time in mother England.

This non violence of which you speak will work how, exactly?
