Merry Christmas
…to all of my Christian readers, and anyone else who celebrates it. We went for a walk on the beach, and got rained on partway through, but we didn’t mind that much, because we so desperately need it.
I see that Webb is safely in space, a nice Christmas present to the astronomy community. Normally, most of the risk on a mission is retired after separation, but they’re just getting started.

It seems plausible to me. A lot of porn is terrible, and creates unrealistic expectations of what normal sex should be like. It’s generally a really bad way to learn about it, and it’s particularly brutal on the girls.
Alec Baldwin’s Accident
Thoughts from John Hindraker. It was clearly an accident, and we don’t have all the facts yet, but it could be negligent homicide.
