  1. Fiscal responsibility, schmiscal shmesponsibility.

    I don’t much care how the Federal government obtains the money it wastes. It’s all fiat anyway.

    An efficient and incorrupt managerial state would be a compromise, not a victory, for American liberty.

      This wont happen in the reality we exist in.

      All of the societal improvements created by the West have been a recognition that people are flawed and steps must be taken to mitigate negative aspects of human nature. This was once true of science too before it became a religion and the individual became a deity.

      This replaced the source of cultural checks and balances placed on behavior.

      I’ve seen a lot of “intelligent” people on X say that they should be the enlightened dictators, the technocratic rulers of the sub-humans who don’t know any better and its like they don’t even comprehend their own humanity. Or maybe they do, and that’s the scary part.
