  1. There have been days where everything I was wearing except my wedding ring was purchased at CostCo. That includes my glasses.

  2. I wish they had maintained their tall sizes…I used to get my dress shirts there (dress shirts tend to get spewed upon in the emergency department). Alas, not my sizes any more.

  3. A number of years back they has some nice eddie bauer button up hiking/fishing shirts with roll up sleeves. I bought three of them and would buy more but haven’t seen them since.

I’m a bit of an odd size so some things fit and others don’t, so getting Costco clothes usually means buying two and returning one.

“Costco warehouses are designed in a racetrack style, with shelves on the outer perimeter and low tables in the center. This middle area is where most of the “treasure hunt” items are located including clothes, books, and toys.”

That explains why they put the premier protein just off the center. It then becomes a black hole for old people. The other side has the seasonal stuff to nab the middle aged prohos. At least that’s the way it is at the one I go to.

  4. They used to have periodic sales of men’s sport coats, suits, and even tuxedos. The only tux I ever owned, rather than rented, was from Costco. The quality was pretty good, and the prices amazingly low. In retirement, I wear cargo pants in the winter, cargo shorts in the summer, and Carhartt shirts from Tractor Supply (for our farm). But I do buy my shoes at Costco.
