This Seems Like Sort Of A BFD

If SCOTUS upholds this, it can only be fixed with legislation. I expect SpaceX (and other people who want to build things) to go pedal to the metal now.

  1. When the Supreme Court overturned the Chevron Deference, it opened an opportunity to abolish many of the bureaucracy’s regulations. They never had the legal authority to create those regulations, so they’re unconstitutional, therefore invalid. This is the grounds to strike thousands of regulations off the books. This may be a once in a nation’s history opportunity to strike at the Deep State. Let’s not waste it.

    1. Elon and Vivek have just been appointed, in effect, the King’s Headsmen. May they wield their axes with brio.

      1. A bit of caution might be called for about the axe wielding. It’s quite easy to chop the ones making obvious errors because they are too busy doing their jobs to cover their butts like the legions of incompetents.

        1. I disagree. The best way to determine necessary personnel is to eliminate their jobs. If function ceases, bring them back. As one who is asked, at the point of a gun, to contribute without proof of gain, I would like definite proof of need.
