There are a lot of people who want to stop paying taxes, no not traditional tax fraud but withhold no taxes from your paycheck and just pay up during tax season.
It wouldn’t work because we just print money and they would adjust to the lack of regular cash flow
Rand Paul always has sensible proposals. Each year they become a little harsher as we run out of slack. There is still some hope that government will act. A budget freeze would go a long way.
Firing a bunch of government workers would solve a lot of the private sector workforce problems.
Glenn has some good suggestions and even though most everyone will be f’d if his scenario unfolds and his suggestions are followed, prepping now will give your company or community the best chance to respond.
I think a constitutional convention would be a mistake but some of his other reforms have merit. We also need to stop counting illegals for apportioning House members and the other byproduct, EC votes.
Maybe use the carrier task groups to rob wealthy countries? Issue letters of marque and reprisal for billionaires who want to arm their super-yachts. “Stand and deliver. Your money or you die.”
