I had a white-knuckle moment driving home yesterday.
The engine in my 1997 Camry was running rough and missing (misfiring) badly, the Check Engine light was flashing, which means “pull over, now!” While I tried to limp home this way, I had to run a gantlet of protesters waving Palestinian flags and “Jews for Palestine” signs.
All while I had 250 points of fresh-picked fruit in the car.
I made it home, I think it was one of the pair of ignition coils that went pad, and I bought this replacement part this morning.
Makes the situation crystal clear.
