A very small village, with the Pacific Ocean on one side, mountains and a road that gets closed every other year (or more often) on the other?
I think not. Plus, while it’s silly of me, two unrelated people I know are from Cambria, and I have absolutely no respect for either of them.
The road is occasionally closed from Big Sur, but the town is always accessible from San Luis Obispo or Paso Robles (and that’s the fastest way to get to it from either north or south).
On Mars you will need cheap water.
