  1. The op-ed linked the other day about how we got to a spot where Democrats control everything included a long quote about how conservatives would be tyrants if they had power. Trump showed that wasn’t true but people on the right always face that accusation while Democrats don’t even face any criticism for being actual tyrants.

  2. Well not surprising given how they weaponized the IRS against their political opponents.

    There is this:

California may lose congressional seat for the first time in history

Over the past decade, the annual population growth rate has slipped to 0.06%, lower than at any time since at least 1900. California would drop from 53 to 52 House seats – still more than any other state – and would in turn lose electoral votes in the presidential election.

Meanwhile, states like Texas and Florida are growing their populations and political clout. Texas is expected to gain as many as three seats, according to an Election Data Services analysis, and Florida two. Arizona and Colorado could also gain seats.

  3. This is a terrifying article, compared with the lame-brained lampooning of President Trump one usually encounters in media. Yet there seems to be little concern about it.

  4. But but but… No less an authority than NSA Director Jim Clapper assured Sen. Ron Wyden that, under the penalty of perjury, absolutely no surveillance of American citizens ever occurred under NSA auspices.

When NBC’s Andrea Mitchell asked Clapper over the weekend about the exchange, he said the question was “not answerable necessarily by a simple yes or no,” so he “responded in what I thought was the most truthful, or least untruthful, manner by saying, ‘No.’

Of course, according MSNBC, its the Republican’s fault Clapper, working for Obama, kept his job…. I suppose it’s Orange Man’s fault that he’s an ‘analyst’ for CNN these days too….
