By the time NASA gets their first woman to the moon, Space-X will be running a hotel and gas station there.
This will never happen with a Biden win.
Good thing he’s not going to get one then.

Well if you haven’t already make sure you vote. I arrived at my polling place at 06:25AM 5 minutes before it opened there were easily 50 people there in line ahead of me. Went fairly fast was out in approximately 45 minutes
I arrived at 6:20 and there were perhaps 70 people in front of me. The polls opened at 7:00 and there are at least 300 people waiting to vote. Looks like turnout will be high today.
My wife and I voted (in Northern Virginia) Thursday before last, in person, at the Prince William County Elections Office. Twelve days before the election, in mid-afternoon, wouldn’t seem to be when you would expect much activity. But the stream of people going through was as large as we experience at our regular polling place on election day itself. Prince William County is more red than not, so the volume of voting is encouraging. Fairfax County, on the other hand, is solid blue, and Hillary won it by 60% in 2016. But the voter turnout was 82%. Today, in early afternoon, it was only 69%. It would be cool to see Fairfax County flipped.
The only way I can see it happening under Biden is if someone gives the program the proper sales pitch.
“Okay, so where ever Democrats are still behind, a space capsule full of absentee ballots arrives from the moon.”
“Looks like turnout will be high today.”
My perception as well. I am from Ohio a key battleground State. If you don’t mind my asking what State are you from?
I live in Huntsville, AL. The polls opened at 7 and I finally got in around 8:10. While there were perhaps 70 people ahead of me in line that I could see, they were letting those over 70 and the handicapped skip to the head of the line. I don’t know how many of them were there because the front door wasn’t visible from where I stood waiting.
It was cold this morning but the sun was shining and the air was calm. Everyone seemed in a good mood. There were hundreds of people still in line when I left.
Voting at noon I was told that about 500-ish of 1700-odd had already voted in my district. So… looks like it will be a good turnout from anecdotal evidence.
Looks like an amazing turnout for both parties. It will be nice seeing Obama making fun of Trump’s turnout despite Trump having more people vote for him than Obama did.
Glad to see everyone got their suggestions cast today….
MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. The issue of the US intention to extract mineral resources on the Moon will be discussed at the 75th session of the UN General Assembly at Russia’s request, the State Space Corporation Roscosmos told TASS on Tuesday.

“Yes, it [Roscosmos] is planning to,” the space agency said, responding to a question about Russia’s plans to raise this issue at the UN.
“The corresponding item has been included in the session’s agenda. The issue will be raised on behalf of the Russian Federation in line with the procedure accepted at the UN,” Roscosmos specified.
Roscosmos Chief Dmitry Rogozin earlier stated that the Moon’s privatization contradicted international law and Russia would not allow this.
Who knows if anything comes out of this, but this strikes me as a potential large threat – using international law/treaties to hamstring space activities.
