Even before this, my impression was that he’s one of those people “liberals” seem to dislike, for reasons that elude me.
The left probably hates him because he recovered from his crack addiction and went on to found a wildly successful business. He’s the antithesis of the leftist state-supported bread-eaters.
In other words, he escaped the crab bucket.
