A story of how Charles Schulz got it past CBS.
I remember watching it as a kid, and being annoyed that the kids voices weren’t what I’d imagined them reading the comic strip.

Hey, at least he didn’t have Linus read the Christmas story starting with Mathew Chapter 1 Verse 2?
Merry Christmas, everyone! (Am I allowed to say that, here?)
Imagine how I felt when Lorenzo Lamas died and they had to get a new Garfield.
But Garfield still looks MAH-velous!

It was a joke Paul. I used to drive a co-worker nuts when I called him Lorenzo Lamas.
Lorenzo Music was also Carlton your doorman.
Funny you should mention that, Rand. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” came out the same year I learned to read, so by the time I was reading “the funnies” with any regularity, I couldn’t help but imagine the Peanuts characters sounding like the voice actors from the special.
That hadn’t occurred to me until now.
