I’m wondering how and if it will compete with the satellite constellations.

The only broadband internet available to me is Spectrum cable or ATT Uverse. I’m paying $200 a month for basic cable, internet, and a VOIP line ($19) that I no longer need. All I need is the Internet which I currently get at just over 200 Mbps. I really want to cut the cable.
T-mobile currently sells a 4gLTE dedicated hotspot for home Internet for around $50 dollars with no data caps. The speed can be up to 40 Mbps but is usually less.
When T-mobile or some other carrier sells that service in an always-on box in 5g with close to 100 Mbps speed then I’ll switch. I’m hoping that will be in 2020.
