No, with them, it is never over. But if they want more Trump, this is how they’re going to get more Trump.

More thoughts on Trump “fatigue” from VDH.
Trump’s low approval ratings don’t mean what the media hopes they mean. I continue to not approve of Trump, but if you think that’s going to make me vote for any Democrat, you’re out of your mind,

The New York Times is now admitting that its latest hit job on Kavanaugh was #FakeNews.

Jonathan Chait is afraid that his party’s candidates are either too left, or too old. He should be.
[Afternoon update]
Are the Democrats committing electoral suicide?
I sure hope so.
“Trump’s low approval ratings don’t mean what the media hopes they mean.”
They haven’t since 2016. It’s amazing that they put any faith in them now.
They might mean something except that Democrats dont have good approval ratings either. A topic the media never covers.
Understand, Trump’s confrontational and bombastic style is an essential part of his Super Power forcing his opposition to drop their masks and expose who they really are.
Absolutely correct.
Unrelated (or is it?), but he also plays rope-a-dope to perfection.
Well, two tools in the same toolbox.
I just love watching him use rope-a-dope again and again and again and the left, Wile E. Coyote-like, never learning.
From Chait’s ariticle: “The appeal of Bernie Sanders proved Democrats were ready to embrace socialism, or at least something close to it; and Donald Trump’s election proved a nominee with extreme positions could still win.”
Exactly what “extreme positions” did candidate Donald Trump have?
They’re not leftist.
Too old and too far to the left?
I’ve seen a lot of stories this past week about how Democrats need to stop what they are doing and focus on ways to beat Trump. The implicit claim is that Democrats should lie about what they will do once in office to sucker the “moderates” into voting for them.
The public deserves to know what Democrats, or anyone else, will do once in power. A strategy of carefully crafted deception is repugnant and I hope Americans are finally starting to see through it.
We have come along way from everyone is just paranoid if you think Democrats want to take your guns away with their commonsense gun safety regulations to your damn right we are taking your guns away. The goal has always been to take guns away. The only difference is Democrats are finally being honest and think the time for incrementalism is over. The same is true for many other issues.
Democrat’s problem isn’t that candidates are too old, too white, or too far to the left. Their problem is that they are too honest.
“Democrat’s problem isn’t that candidates are too old, too white, or too far to the left. Their problem is that they are too honest.”
That’s problem for them…..
…for us it’s vindication.
