The thing is, while I don’t find anything that Cohen says about Trump incredible, it’s things that I’ve always assumed about him. I doubt that there are very many people whose minds were changed about Trump as a result of what the scumbag said. And his statement at the end that Trump wouldn’t go easily if he loses the election is pretty ironic, considering that the Left and the Democrats (but I repeat myself), over two years into the term, still haven’t accepted their defeat.
[Update a while later]
I thought it was funny that Cohen was caught committing perjury and criminally referred while still testifying.
One of the leaks from today’s closed session was something like this; “Trump asked me about 500 times to threaten people”. Oh really, a client asked their lawyer to threaten somebody. I’d love to see all the clients that had lawyers threaten me with lawsuits carted off to jail. But I don’t think that is a crime.
” it’s things that I’ve always assumed about him. ”
So you have always assumed he was a hard core FELON criminal running a criminal operation of political corruption, fraud, bank fraud tax evasion, money laundering, insurance fraud on and on but never bother with that .. and just rant about the “leftists”?
THAT is just laughable .. so much for the Rand that is for the law and order.. you bitch about everything BUT the criminal in the white house… lol So much for that moral high ground you always try to stand on ..
We had a choice between two New York Democrat corrupt white-collar criminals. I have a preference for the one that will give us better policies and court nominees.
If Trump was any more corrupt than the average property-developer, Clinton’s team must have been incredibly incompetent to fail to bring it up in the election campaign.
The entire political and media establishment has been trying to find proof of Trump corruption for the last two years, and have dug up practically nothing. Either he’s very, very good at hiding it, or there’s nothing significant there to find.
The average property developer in New York and New Jersey is pretty corrupt.
In which ways, if any, would you consider Trump average, Rand?
(this comment made tongue-in-cheek).
The criminal in the White House left it on Jan. 20, 2017.
And the other one lost the last election to Trump.
Disagreeing with you is not a crime, Vlad.
Rand has plenty of criticism for Trump on whatever topic you choose but your characterization of Trump being a hard core criminal felon is laughable and you should feel ashamed that you are so gullible.
This line of attack has been resurfacing lately from a lot of different sources. The first time it appeared, was during the election when Obama, Hillary, and the media were trying to rig the election and they wanted to preemptively discredit Trump pointing it out after the election. Why is it making a come back? It makes me think the fix is in for another round of illegal attempts to rig the election.
Picture two Democrats, with a crowd behind them, standing in front of a man they just beat to the ground. One holds up a can of gasoline and the other flicks a lighter to intimidate their victim. The crowd makes a loud but unintelligible commotion behind them. Whose side is the crowd on?
Democrats are miscalculating support for their actions.
I recall during the debates that Trump wouldn’t accept the results of the election and Hillary would. That didn’t age well. We now know that before that debate even began, Hillary and Obama were using FISA to spy on the Trump campaign, and senior leaders of the FBI were actively seeking ways to prevent Trump from winning.
Democrats, liberals and Socialists lead the world in projection:
If you want to know what they are doing, just look as what they accuse other people of doing.
They’ve proven this time and again.
What I found most amusing is the media saying “Stunning bombshell: Trump asked Cohen to lie to his wife about the affair he was having”. As Instapundit would say, this is my shocked face.
Isn’t that old news? In other words, is there anyone who didn’t already know about that?
Actually pretty hilarious. This man is a convicted liar to Congress, testifying to Congress. Part of his testimony is that his job was lying to people and courts and governments.
Any rational person would say, there is no reason to pay the slightest attention to a word this person says. Period.
