I don’t think I ever eat any of these, other than getting ice from the fountain machine, for water. As I’ve noted in the past, eating out is bad for both your health and your budget.

she’s hung up about Lettuce Wrap burgers. WTF!
Sounds like she just doesn’t like making them.
Yeah, “please don’t order this because I’m too lazy to make it?” Fine, I’ll go somewhere else where the staff will make my order the way I want it. (Not that I’d order a burger with a lettuce wrap anyway.)
Most places I order my soda w/o ice anyway. More soda, less bacteria. Works almost everywhere *except* those McDonald’s drive up windows. That sneaky machine KNOWS how much product you’d have gotten with the ice IN and measures accordingly! Well unless the attendant overrides it! That happens too! 🙂
My very first job was at a Quizno’s and the tuna thing is spot on. The tuna we used wasn’t gross – it actually came in a conventionally shaped tuna can, just bigger, and we used a giant industrial can opener to open it – 14 year old me thought it was fun. Then we’d mix the tuna with a ton of mayo by hand in a big plastic container.
The respondent was surprised that tuna comes the same way it does in the grocery store.
Many years ago I worked as a pizza delivery driver. The health inspectors ALWAYS checked the soda fountain nozzles to see if they had been cleaned. We would clean them nightly. They just pop off for easy cleaning.
This is dangerous as some people order it this way due to health reasons.
