The Never-Ending Hypocrisy Of The Left

Alan Dershowitz points it out in the case of the “right-wing” pipe bomber.

Oh, and for lagniappe, the anti-Semite who shot up the synagogue was not a Trump supporter.

Never-Trumper (and Jew) John Podhoretz on the slaughter in Pittsburgh. (Spoiler: It has nothing to do with Trump.)

[Update a while later]

A brief excerpt:

Based on the early evidence, the shooter was not only consumed with a hatred of Jews but possessed a kind of sneering contempt for Trump on the grounds that Trump was basically a Jewish agent or a Jew-lover himself. Trump can only be blamed for the murderous Jew-killing actions of someone who thought of him that way by people who are so consumed by hatred of him that there is nothing they won’t blame him for.

Yup.

  1. Sad that The Atlantic response to the synagogue shooter is to opine that Jews that support the President should be punished, which was also the opinion of the shooter.

    1. It’s a sort of Carthage delenda est situation–any and every event must turn to “let’s get rid of Trump” by these people.

  2. The hoax bomb guy was the first act of “right wing” terrorism since Trump was elected. Anyone and everyone is capable of violence or threats of violence. It just happens to be that 99% of this stuff comes from the left. But not everyone thinks so.

Whenever the subject of violence in politics comes up, lefties will be quick to post a link so some SPLC list about “right wing” violence but whenever you read the list, it is mostly populated by people who are not “right wing” in terms of their political views. They are assigned being “right wing” because of their racial views.

Racism and bigotry do not belong to either the left or the right, both can be racist or bigoted. To simply say that racism and bigotry belong solely on the right and therefore neo-Nazi or anti-semites are “right wing” by default is a deceit and to blame Republicans for their actions is a slander.

Dershowitz is right to point out that not all violent acts are the fault of a President or party. Bernie Sanders wasn’t at fault for the Bernie Bro Shooter. Is the rhetoric of the Democrats partly responsible? It is tough to say because their rhetoric is focused on creating a moral obligation to engage in direct action, it is a literal call to action. These are the terms they use to describe how they organize and it is intended to get people to act on their own but they also have a network that funds and organizes activist groups that engage in violent behavior.

It would be nice if the rhetoric calmed down from Trump and the Democrats. All it would take for Trump to stop calling the media fake news, is for them to stop deliberately crafting deceitful articles that falsely portray events. All it would take for Democrats to stop their attacks on the rest of society is for them to abandon identity politics and cultural marxism. All it would take for Republicans to stop talking about the threat of illegal immigration is to fix the immigration system and have a secure border. So, I guess we are stuck because none of this will happen.

How do we stop the violence though? That is much worse than words. I think the root of the violence we have been seeing, with the exception of the guy who shot up the synagogue, is the violence from the Democrat party. There would be no protest violence if Democrats didn’t crash other people’s events and if they didn’t fight with cops at their own events. There would be no random acts of violence against Republicans if Democrats stopped the overt call to engage in it. If none of this stuff was happening, there would never have been a Trump supporting hoax bomber mimicking what the other side is doing.

That doesn’t excuse what took place, only explains it. Violence should only be used in self defense and maybe now our friends to the left will join our years long call to hold people who engage in violence accountable for their actions.

The shooter is apparently a neo-Nazi who hates Trump because Trump likes Jews. So I’m guessing he would have voted Democrat, given that Democrats are the party of socialist and antisemites.

And the bomb hoaxer is almost certainly a Democrat plant.

The right don’t want a civil war, because they kind of like electricity and indoor plumbing. The left do, because they’d rather rule over a third-world hellhole than serve in a first-world country. That’s the difference between the two sides.
