    Complete jerk and former Minister in a Labor government famous for saying ” we’ll just change it all when we get in” (referring to election promises). I can’t remember which portfolio he had but it doesn’t matter as he’d stuff up anything.

    History shows that a capitalist dystopia isn’t likely because free markets, free people, and a couple other ingredients are what has allowed humans to stop sleeping in the dirt and live lives where even the poorest in the USA have comforts kings never had.

    But an Orwellian Totalitarianism? You would think that Kevin Williamson wouldn’t be so dismissive of the danger. The only reason we don’t live in one is because there are still people who fight against it. There isn’t anything predestined either way but rather the actions of people who determine how things turn out. Being complacent and thinking that it can never happen is exactly how it will happen.

    It is a critical time in history because the marxist technocrats very much want to monitor and control what everyone thinks, says, does and people who think it doesn’t matter because they don’t have Twitter, aren’t on FaceBook, don’t read comic books, don’t read traditional publishing, and don’t play video games are just too naive and disconnected to realize the marxist technocrats are coming for them too.
