I don’t think it’s war on the poor so much as the unexamined opinion that these climate change narratives are automatically good for the poor. For example, I’ve seen people assert without even the slightest attempt at reason or evidence that stopping climate change is going to be good for the poor.
When someone gets to that degree of dogmatism, then of course, they’re not going to pay attention to any harm of the poor. It’ll be assumed to be a false story.
