The Lying Obama Administration

Yes, it looks like they did spy on Trump, just like they did with Sheryl Atkisson.

[Update a few minutes later]

What we still don’t know about the Obama administration’s unmasking. I think it’s unlikely that it will turn out to be innocuous. I agree with Rush Limbaugh that this (combined with the IRS abuse) is much worse than Watergate.

[Update a few more minutes later]

Samantha Power sought to unmask Americans on an almost-daily basis. And hey, remember when Clapper (you know, the guy who lied about spying on other Americans) categorically denied wiretapping the Trump campaign?

[Update a couple minutes later]

Congress needs to learn more about how the FBI interfered with the 2016 campaign. This, not what the Russians did, is the real scandal.

[Saturday-morning update]

This is Obama’s Watergate, in which he (so far) got away with what Nixon could only dream of doing.

And the FBI is still stonewalling:

I can’t imagine why Speaker Ryan wouldn’t want to get to the bottom of the apparent misuse of the FBI by Barack Obama and his corrupt Department of Justice. But this is what I really don’t understand: the FBI is part of DOJ, which is run–in theory, at least–by the Attorney General. Why doesn’t Attorney General Jeff Sessions simply order the FBI to comply with the House Intelligence Committee’s subpoena, promptly?

If we had real journalists, instead of Democrat operatives with bylines in the WH press corps, they’d be asking Sarah Huckabee Sanders that question every day.

  1. One thing to counted on, is that lefties lie. One can always depend upon them lying. And the news will do their job, when it’s too late for them to be of any use, ie, now they think Russia is a threat. [that’s extreme example of them being behind the times]. One can expect them to be less tardy on other matters- pension collapsing, the great recession not ending, etc.

  2. Worse than lying is they have judges in place to over turn rule of law.

Satan is thinking he’d be ashamed of telling such woppers.

Why aren’t they ever held accountable? In part, because they’re ok with opponents they can pay off or blackmail into letting them continually get away with it.

  3. I suspect what took place is not the “incidental” capture of communications. Even though Manafort was FISA’d, the events that lead to that are suspect as well.

What I think happened was the Obama administration captured all of the communications of the Trump campaign/administration. Then the ones where they talked to foreigners were flagged and those foreign individuals targeted in order to create a cover. Those communications could then be leaked while the rest remained with only Obama officials.

It was the reverse engineering of illegally obtained communications in order to make it look legal. Its the same thing the feds have been coaching local/state law enforcement to do.

    1. Stuff like this makes me wonder, is there some level of routine public disclosure that would discourage corruption within intelligence agencies, without compromising their job of protecting the country?
