  1. Jordan Peterson, Univ of Toronto, who was under fire for not using proper trans pronouns, was interviewed on Joe Rogan. He does an excellent job of describing Postmodernism, including the absolute nonsense of Derrida and Foucault. His explanation is roughly between minutes 30 and 60.

there is no truth Shouldn’t having this one belief alone be reason to disqualify a teacher?

science and empirical facts are tools of oppression by the white patriarchy

Oppression [by many] does exist. But as Charlottesville demonstrates, the problem is those that aren’t interested in facts. Because of this, nothing the president could say except a lie would be acceptable to his opposers.

The left loves neo-nazi idiots when even just one supports their narrative.

Was watching CBS evening news last night, their reporter that was on the scene said that the Democrats didn’t use any violence and that very few of them were armed.

Considering that the Democrat protesters far outnumbered the Unite the Right people, it could be that only a small percentage were armed. But that small percent engaged in a lot of violence and one of their tactics is to use larger crowds of more normal people (useful idiots) to shield them from law enforcement, the media, and their victims.

People relying on CBS would assume the Democrats were peaceful but if you watch youtube videos, you know that is far from the truth. And in an age where words are violence, how could the media not examine the leftist groups involved, their signs, their communist flags, or what they yell at people?

Instead the media attacks people who say the Democrat’s militant activists are as bad as white nationalists. There would be no violence at any political even if the Democrat’s storm troopers did not show up to instigate it.

  3. Somewhat amusing that this is in Scientific American–maybe they’ve gotten better since, but I stopped reading about 15 years back when the ratio of science to politics got too low for me.

    1. Same here, closer to 25 years ago. After buying it for over a decade every month, I found myself only reading Metamagical Themas.
