Michelle Malkin says it’s time to end the War on (Some) Drugs.
This really should be the conservative position. It’s a shame that she had to go through what she did with her daughter to come to it, though.

So let me be clear as a liberty-loving, conservative mom: Keep your hands off. Let the scientists lead. Limited government is the best medicine.
I am comfortable with legalizing some drugs but maybe she should have rephrased the part about letting scientists lead. They should stick to doing their research. But lead? The more interactions I have with the science tribe, the less inclined I am to trust them with any position of power over human beings.
Ditto. Separation of science and state would alleviate a lot of problems.
