Yep, it’s nearly unreadable, even knowing what the letters are supposed to be. That doesn’t mean they don’t have a point about the sameness of all those logos.
The grand-daddy of all those logos is of course the old-school NASA “meatball” logo, which is probably not a coincidence.

I’d go with nothing on a black background. It would look like deep space.
