But “San Francisco, for example, recently decided to not pump oil from land owned by the city in Kern County, although one wonders what the new rich in that region use to fill the tanks of their BMWs. ”
Well, uh, I imagine they’ll use gasoline.
Unless there’s an on-site refinery, that city oil well is irrelevant to those horrible nouveau-riche BMW drivers.
I expect the net effect on local fuel prices rounds to zero in either case.
No better example of what America would be like if Hillary were president for eight years.
Last I saw (sorry about messed up graphics on the page, it was ok when I last used it a few months ago), Fresno has a median wage of $15.02 per hour (year 2015 or 2016) while San Jose had a median income of $27.61. So when minimum wage goes up to $15 per hour in five years, I think it’ll look like a neutron bomb hit.
Mostly spot on.
