The SoCal Superbloom

We’ve been too busy with home improvements on weekends to get out and see it, but the flowers are gorgeous this year.

Given the soaking the area has taken this year that’s hardly surprising.

It would be surprising if there weren’t.

You should take a break, go for a drive, enjoy the view. The opportunity may not come again soon.

You know the old saw about stopping to smell the roses … it is a cliché for a reason.

Looks like stores are going to be running short on Kleenex.

Hwy 223 descending from Hwy 59 toward Arvin is always great, and was well under way Saturday. Most of the color was at the lower altitude end, so it will be increasing over next few weeks. Plenty of rain forecast this week, and even snow in Tehachapi means it will continue to improve.
