Some of those were good questions are others were sensationally exaggerated as Balko likes to treat everything he writes about. His editor should have advised him to write an outline before this post so there was a coherent theme he could express as an introduction and conclusion to link the questions together.
He would likely find he didn’t need a giant wall of unreadable text to make his points.
I only caught the tail end of the hearing so don’t know if anything was asked along these themes but some questions as Balko proposed would certainly be fitting considering the climate on the left and right on criminal justice reform.

Note that while no one is questioning that these are the reports that the former British intelligence operative provided to the US intelligence community, the allegations in the reports have not been verified.
Eric and Loretta set a pretty low bar. The question is not, do you agree with Sessions. The question is will there be equal justice.
