One-Party Government

More Americans want it. Because the Left has succeeded in dumbing down the populace about the founding principles of the Republic. I agree with this:

…since the GOP will almost certainly hold the House — and looks like it’s got a good chance with the Senate — if you want one-party government you need to elect Trump. On the other hand, Trump’s so different from the Republicans in Congress that it would still be divided government, really. Which I personally find more of a comfort than a disappointment.

Yes.

  1. Blech. The dual-party system is bad enough as it is.
The US Constitution is already there to ensure a modicum of uniformity.

  2. Regardless of the letter after the name it’s pretty much been one party for a long time now. They should just self identify as the “blueblood elites” party.

Opposed by the “deplorably incorrect” of course.

  3. For a long time I’ve been saying, “We need a patriotic opposition party” I would love to see a world in which the two parties where the GOP and the Libertarians.

  4. Rethinking it, I wonder if a one party system would actually be bad? You might think it just pushes the decision to the primary, but it’s even more clear than that. The democrats made certain that Bernie never had a chance.

This way the American people might realize we’ve lost the republic because we didn’t keep it.
