What a scam. And it continues to enrich the banks and universities with no risk to them, while screwing over the students.
Not going to happen as long as you have personnel departments and they exist so management doesn’t have to bother with people looking for jobs. The personnel dept. doesn’t get points off for turning people away (which is why I always went around them as a kid. I even got a thanks-but-no-thanks letter from Brush Wellman in Tucson almost two weeks AFTER I got hired!)
Back when schools worked as they’re supposed to a degree meant you had certain skills. In recent years certifications seem to have filled that role in some fields, until you start getting garbage certifications. Add in dishonest resumes and employers have trouble identifying who actually has the skills they’re looking for.
